Message From the President

Dr. Lana Marie B. Sullano

Welcome Lana Marie Bautista Sullano, 2025-2026 president of PDCI!

Lana was propelled in this prestigious position in just a matter of 5 years of practice as a dentist, an impressive feat indeed. She opened her clinic at BF Homes Paranaque in late 2019 after graduating at Perpetual University in 2018 and passing the board in 2019 but was interrupted by the covid lockdown. She resumed her practice after the lockdown was lifted and still going strong to this day.

Her passion for work and natural ability to connect with people made her stand out among patients and peers. Her keen desire to improve her craft to effectively serve her patients and reach out to the marginalized became an inspiration for her. So she embarked on advancing her expertize to diverse fields of dental services. Now she holds certificates in Esthetic Dentistry, Biomimetic Dentistry, Craniodontics and Implan Dentistry.

Her work was not only confined in her immediate community in Paranaque. As a member of PDA she was involved in various dental missions in Metro Manila and the surrounding cities even reaching to other provinces such as Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Boracay and Bacolod. Her innate talent and dedication were not left unnoticed. She became a trusted staff member of Asia Pacific Dental Conference (APDC) under its President blank. As officer of APDC she participates in representing the country in international conferences. In 2022, she was part of the delegation in Australia, 2023 in Taiwan, 2024 in Turkey and this year in Korea.

All these she accomplished while taking on the responsibility of raising three wonderful children, Aion, Aldous, Athena and with the support of her husband, Ariel.

Hard work and resilience enable her to navigate the complexities of family life, profession and community service. The rewards of being able to contribute and promote awareness in her chosen field of dental health coupled with the opportunity to extend services to people who have no access to this very basic need, give her so much satisfaction and sense of accomplishment. That for her are immeasurable.

Being the President of Paranaque Dental Ass, the challenges ahead are even greater. Undeterred by these challenges however, she is all the more fired up to relentlessly pursue higher goals and implement programs that will make a lasting imprint in the lives of people she vowed to serve.

Most of all, being raised in a God-fearing family, faith in God was and is her main driving force in carving a niche in her chosen career and in making her life a witness and an instrument of God's grace to others.

With the help of God and staunch leadership her fruitful and successful tenure as president of PDC is clearly in the offing.
